THE MOST REMARKABLE MANAGERIAL CHANGES ACCORDING TO BUBENIK PARTNERS – THE THIRD QUARTER OF 2022

In the nine most interesting managerial changes and transfers of the last quarter, Bubenik Partners included Czech and Slovak leaders and members of top management from various fields. The previous quarter’s onboarding to the top managerial roles of significant companies based in the Czech Republic reflects recruitment trends from the first half of the year. Businesses are increasingly hungry to strengthen senior management teams. They mainly emphasize innovation, digitization, and strategy to ensure competitiveness at a time when the skill to adapt to sudden changes is critical.

„Movers and Shakers at the Top of Czech Business“ is a prestigious quarterly selection that presents a comprehensive view of what is happening on the market through the eyes of Bubenik Partners, a renowned consulting company. It is a representative overview of the most important events at the highest levels of Czech business in the given period.

New hires and transfers in the third quarter resulted from recruitment activities in the first half of this year. The number of reported changes in the top management of companies in the Czech Republic has been increasing since the pandemic. It proves that the appetite to strengthen management teams and adapt to the new challenges of the current geopolitical and economic situation is growing.

„In the previous, more conservative months, companies filled positions primarily with internal candidates. The degree of external changes and the need to adapt was manifested in an increase in courage, but also in the need to recruit managers externally,“ says Jan Bubeník, founder and managing partner of Bubenik Partners. „At the same time, the number of Czech top managers returning from foreign posts also decreased, as well as the arrival of experienced expats to manage the Czech branches of their parent companies.“

This quarter also confirms the trend that we have been observing since the pandemic – the most active in changes in the top management teams are innovative companies whose sectors are doing well, such as digital, technology, and e-commerce companies, followed by those that are modernizing their business and transforming it towards digitalization, such as traditional banks and retail chains.

In recent months, companies have often recruited managers for functions covering marketing, digitization, strategy, technology, and innovation. This confirms the desire of companies to keep up with the rapid market development and to be ready for sudden changes.

Jan Hanuš

CEO, Woltair

Heat pump and photovoltaic expert Woltair has a new leader. In August, the management of the company was handed over to Jan Hanuš by the company’s founder, Daniel Helcl.

The company, founded in 2018, is aiming for one billion crowns in concluded contracts this year. „Woltair has grown, and after opening a branch in Warsaw, we are also preparing to expand to Italy and Germany. The company needs an experienced and internationally seasoned leader who will make Woltair a world player in the field of energy and decarbonization of buildings,“ says Daniel Helcl.

Jan Hanuš joins the company from the position of CEO of the Czech Mall Group. Before that, he led international companies such as Kostelecké uzeniny and Telenor Hungary, the third largest mobile operator in Hungary.

 

Petr Jonák

Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Director, SAZKA

In July, the lottery company Sazka from the KKCG group named an experienced manager in the field, Petr Jonák, as director of the newly established external relations and sustainability division.

His competence includes the realm of public affairs, external communication, sponsorship, social responsibility, and, newly, sustainability. The latter two mentioned areas are among Sazka’s priorities; the director’s main tasks, therefore, include strengthening them, creating strategies, and deciding on the direction of the company.

Petr Jonák is also a member of the board of the Association of Industry and Transport, where he oversees sustainability and the EU internal market and covers the Association’s communications. He comes to Sazka from T-Mobile, where he worked in a similar role. Before that, he worked for Škoda, BXR, and Coca-Cola.

 

Lenka Madliaková

Czech Republic Country Managing Director, Accenture

In September, Lenka Madliaková became the new Country Managing Director of the Czech branch of the consulting company Accenture. She replaced Roberto Libonati in the position.

Lenka Madliaková started her career in the Slovak branch of Accenture and moved to the Czech Republic in 2008. In addition to Czech and Slovak clients, she also worked with international companies operating in Bulgaria or Japan.

Since 2018, she has been responsible for technological projects in the fields of pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, sales of consumer goods, and the automotive industry. In addition to her new role in the management of the Czech branch, Lenka Madliaková also retains her current position.

 

Miloš Mastník

CEO, České Radiokomunikace

České Radiokomunikace, the operator of a network of television and radio transmitters, has had a new CEO since July. Miloš Mastník has worked at České Radiokomunikace since 2016 as a Sales Director.

Last year, České Radiokomunikace was bought from Macquarie Asset Management by Cordiant Digital Infrastructure, which is traded on the main market of the London Stock Exchange.

Miloš Mastník has extensive experience in the field of telecommunications. He started at Český Telecom, and for many years held leading positions in GTS Czech and GTS Central Europe. He also worked at T-Mobile CR and was director of sales and marketing at ČD – Telematika.

 

Aleš Struminský

President Europe Region, Board Member, Imperial Brands

In October, Aleš Struminský was appointed president for the European region and a member of the board of directors of Imperial Brands, a producer and distributor of nicotine products. He thus became one of the few Czechs to hold this position in a global company traded on public markets.

„Aleš brings to the board of Imperial Brands indisputable knowledge of our business, rich experience from individual markets and a great management style, based on cooperation and excellent results,“ says Stefan Bomhard, Chief Executive Officer of Imperial Brands.

Aleš Struminský has been working at Imperial Brands for over 20 years. In 2002, he started as a Key Account Manager in Prague and gradually worked his way up to the position of General Manager in various Imperial Brands regions.

 

Jakub Střeštík

Managing Director, Mall Group

At the end of July, Jakub Střeštík took over the leadership of Mall Group, the largest e-commerce platform in Central and Eastern Europe, from Jan Hanuš. For the past two years, he worked in the company in the role of Chief Commercial Officer.

The main task in his new role is to complete the integration with the Allegro shopping platform and help the entire group consolidate its position as the e-commerce champion of Central and Eastern Europe. At the same time, he focuses on the development of Mall’s strengths, which historically are not only the marketplace model but also the sale of goods from its own warehouses.

Before coming to the Mall, Jakub Střeštík worked in business roles in major international companies such as Kika, Starbucks, and KFC.

 

Miroslav Svoboda

Country Leader, Deloitte Czech Republic

Miroslav Svoboda, a senior partner in the tax and legal department, assumed the position of Country Leader of Deloitte Czech Republic in June. He thus replaced Diana Rádl Rogerová, who had held this role since 2016.

„My vision is Deloitte as an ‘accelerator’ of knowledge and innovation, manifested in all areas where we are involved – audit, tax, law and financial, technological and risk management consulting,“ said Svoboda.

Miroslav Svoboda joined Deloitte in 2003 as a Senior Consultant and gradually worked his way up to the level of partner. Before working at Deloitte, he began his career as a tax advisor at a Brno law firm.

 

Martin Šlégl

General Director, STADA Czech Republic

The Czech branch of the leading European pharmaceuticals supplier STADA welcomed a new general manager in September, who will build on its success in the local market following the acquisition of the Czech company Walmark two years ago.

Martin Šlégl takes over the management of STADA’s domestic representation at a time when the company continues to grow in the local market thanks to newly emerging opportunities.

He joins STADA from IQVIA, a provider of healthcare solutions and services. There, he was first in charge of, and developed consulting in, the Central and Eastern Europe region, and in the last four years, was General Director of the Czechoslovak branch, with more than 350 employees. He started his career at Roland Berger.

 

Martin Vašek

CEO, Hypoteční banka and ČSOB Stavební spořitelna

In November, Martin Vašek became the CEO of Hypoteční banka and ČSOB Stavební spořitelna. Personnel changes were approved by the Czech National Bank.

Within the ČSOB group, Martin Vašek is moving from the position of CEO of ČSOB Penzijní společnost and KBC Asset Management, a branch of ČSOB, which he has held since 2019. Marcela Suchánková will replace him in these positions.

Martin Vašek has been working in the ČSOB group for more than 17 years. He joined ČSOB in 2005 as director of the Financial Markets Support department. After four years, he transferred to Hypoteční banka, where he held the position of Financial Director. In February 2013, he returned to ČSOB as the Head of the Operations Processing and Purchasing Department, then the Products and Integration Department, and subsequently became the Executive Director of the Retail Branch Network.

More than two years after the pandemic outbreak, it is possible to observe the return of companies to their original recruitment activities. After the more conservative months, when companies often filled positions with internal candidates, the number of external transfers increased again in the first quarter of 2022.

“We have observed the most significant movement so far this year in companies in sectors that have been significantly successful in recent months. Jan BeranIn March, he became the new Chief Commercial Officer of Linet Group, the third leading producer of beds for health and social care globally.  Before that, he held the position of Country Manager and CEE Lead Manager at Danone for over four years. From 2012 to 2018, he worked for the LEGO Group as Marketing Director for the Middle East/Africa and France regions. 

 

Marek Blaha – Since January, he has been CEO of the new subsidiary of Česká spořitelna, ČS Dostupné bydlení. It is a project for the construction of housing for groups of the population that are crucial for the development of municipalities (e.g., doctors, teachers, police officers). In the past five years, he has held the position of Director of Retail Distribution at Česká spořitelna. 

 

Tom Blanckaert – In March, he became the new member of the Board of Directors and Chief Officer at ČSOB, responsible for Group Risk Management, and a member of the Board of Directors of Hypoteční banka and ČSOB Stavební spořitelna He comes from the position of CEO of Corporate Audit, which he has held since 2018.  Over the years, he has worked as a risk advisor in Belgium, deputy director of the corporate banking department and director of the corporate and SME credit department at Kredytbank in Poland, risk director at ČSOB in Slovakia and executive director for small and medium-sized enterprises and corporate credit risks at K&H Bank in Hungary.  

 

Josef Danda – Since February, he has been the new Chief Sales Officer at Aeskulab, a nationwide network of diagnostic laboratories.  Prior to that, he worked for more than 7 years as Commercial Director B2B for the Czech and Slovak Republics at Nestle Nespresso.  In the past, he worked as Sales Director at Popron and spent over nine years in sales management positions at Office Depot. 

 

Lenka Dušková – In February, she was appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Board of Directors at Albert. Prior to that, she held the position of Director of Business Controlling in the Finance Department.  In the past, she held a number of financial positions in the USA. She also gained professional experience in the retail market in Bulgaria. In 2015, she returned to the Czech Republic and joined the finance team at Albert. 

 

Margaréta IlkováIn January, she became the new General Manager of Clearstream Operations Prague, thus strengthening the management of the Czech representation of Deutsche Börse Group, an international stock exchange organization and provider of innovative market infrastructure, alongside the current executives Armin Borries and Peter Hollovič. She has been with the Group in various management positions since 2008, most recently as Global HR Business Partner for IT at Deutsche Börse. 

 

Martina Kneiflová – In January, she became the head of EY ČR. She previously worked as a Partner of the tax department and Head of Human Resources consulting team in the Czech Republic.  She is also a member of the Chamber of Tax Advisors of the Czech Republic.  Martina has been involved in tax consulting since the beginning of her 22-year career at EY 

 

Tomáš ProšekIn January, he took over the position of Group CEO of C System CZ & Český Servis, a company engaged in the sale and service of computer technology and the supply of IT services, including cloud solutions. Prior to that, he worked for PPF Group as Program Management Officer at CETIN and Chief Digital Officer at Home Credit Indonesia. In addition to PPF Group, he worked at O2 in the Czech and Slovak Republics, ČEZ and Cisco System. 

 

Jan Škrabánek – In March, he became CEO of Bezrealitky, the largest service offering the possibility of direct sale or lease of real estate, and one of the most visited Czech real estate websites. He comes from the position of Marketing Director of the Czech online supermarket Košík.cz. He has experience from the Letgo bazaar platform. He also worked on the lending platform Zonka, where he headed the marketing department. 

 

Petr Sochor – In January, he took up the position of Global Information Technology Director at PFNonwovens In the past, he worked as Global Vice President of IT at APAGCoSyst Electronic Control Systems, as CTO at Zentiva and for 17 years as ICT department manager for EMEA at FOXCONN.

In 2001, Jan Bubeník founded Bubenik Partners, an executive search firm that focuses on the Central & Eastern European region and today serves as its managing partner. Bubenik Partner’s client base spans early-stage regional companies to global Fortune 500s. Renata Mrázová

Renata Mrazova studied at the University of Economics, Prague, specializing in Economics and Commerce. Renata began her career in 1995 in the Swedish pharmaceutical company Astra where she had gone through several positions within Finance and HR. In June 2000 Renata joined ING Group as CFO CZ&SK (currently NN Group). In 2005 Renata decided to accept the offer to establish Direct Insurance Company at a “Greenfield”, where she, in the position of CEO and Chairman of the Board operated until July 2007. In the next period, she devoted herself to her family and family business. In September of 2009, she returned to the ING Group and worked as CFO again. At the end of 2010, she has become CEO NN Group for Czech and Slovak republics. As of August 2015, she moved to The Netherlands at the position of Global Head of HR of NN Group in The Hague. In 2019 she moved back to Czechia where she joined Home Credit International, a.s., as Chief People Officer. Renata is a proud mother of 2 daughters and is married.

 

Tereza Müllerová

The Movers and Shakers at the Top of Czech Business in the Fourth Quarter of 2020

According to Bubenik Partners, the most significant managerial changes in the fourth quarter of 2020 included changes of CEOs at one of the major firearms manufacturers, in the Czech branches of an elevator supplier, a global security solutions agency, and a cash management company. 

Among other attention-catching changes were returns of managers from their foreign engagements – to the operator of a leading online comparison platform and an innovative technology company. Our prestigious quarterly selection „Movers and shakers at the forefront of the Czech business“ also comprised the accedence of a woman as a head of the banking association and shifts in the top management of the global leader in digital security. 

The „Top 8“ selection for the fourth quarter of 2020 represents an aggregated view of the developments on the market through the lens of Bubenik Partners, a renowned consulting company, which is building on twenty years of day-to-day operation experience with top managers in the Czech Republic. It is a comprehensive and representative selection of the most important occurrences at the forefront of the Czech business over the past period. 

While the top ten most significant changes were announced for every quarter of the last year, selection of the fourth quarter was narrowed down to „Top 8“. 

In the past three months, there were demonstrably fewer changes in the top management compared to previous quarters. In our view, this is due to a combination of two factors: seasonal downturn as appointments agreed before the end of the year are traditionally postponed to January and increased uncertainty in the business sphere,“ said Jan Bubeník, founder and managing partner of Bubenik Partners,

Pavel Adamovský – General Manager of the security agency SECURITAS Czech Republic (he took up the baton for the agency as its Country Executive Officer in November, after having previously spent 14 years at UPS, where he managed branches in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, PolandRussia, and Belarus). 

Branislav Baláž – Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Schindler CZ, a.s. – a Czech branch of the world leading elevator supplier (he joined the company back in 2018 as Business Area Director for New installations in the South and Eastern Europe after both national and international engagements at companies such as Hilti, GoodYear and KONE). 

Jaroslav Gaisler – General Manager of the online comparison platform Srovnejto.cz (he took over the firm owned by Bauer Media Group in November, after years spent abroad. Most recently he served as Chief Executive Officer of Home Credit International in Indonesia).  

Olivier Maurice – Country President for the Czech and Slovak Republics at Loomis (he joined the company specializing in cash management in November after over 20 years spent in the manufacturing sector in the Czech Republic and Asia). 

Lukáš Raška – In October, he assumed a newly created role of the Chief Commercial Officer at technology company Livesport (he spent nearly seven years as Chief Operating Officer for the Asia-Pacific markets at anti-virus company ESET; previously, he had also worked for AVG Technology and Dell).

The Movers and Shakers at the Top of Czech Business in the Third Quarter of 2020

The 10 most significant managerial changes in the Czech Republic in the third quarter of 2020 included leadership change at the country’s largest company, change at the domestic branch of a giant computer manufacturer, as well as returns of Czech managers from their foreign engagements – to take the lead of a building society, the operator of the largest telecommunications network, or the new division of a globally operating glass company.

Marek Petruš, Director of Research & Knowledge Management at Bubenik Partners, said the third quarter confirmed the trend that one generation of seasoned Czech managers had been returning from foreign engagements, usually in the world’s largest corporations. Those returns accounted for four out of the „Top 10“ managerial changes in the past quarter.

The third quarter also highlighted two other trends perceived this year: First, e-commerce – and especially the ultra-dynamic online retail industry – keep attracting top talent. The rapidly expanding online supermarket Rohlík thus gained valuable reinforcement for its top management by hiring Petr Pavlík, who had previously worked in the country’s management of the Albert chain. Secondly, companies value the contribution of women in leadership positions – a new woman, Veronika Brázdilová, will take a seat among the men in Vodafone’s top management.

Among other highlights were the placement of a partner of the consulting firm McKinsey & Company to a key role at lender Česká spořitelna, or the arrival of a new sales director to the e-commerce platform MALL Group.

Marek Petruš, Director of Research & Knowledge Management at Bubenik Partners, said the second quarter was marked by two ongoing trends: First, the traditional, brick-and-mortar financial and business sectors are no longer as attractive to management talent as the online business – four out of the top 10 were leadership changes at two companies running online platforms – Rohlík and MALL. The most important management moves in the first quarter of 2020 in the Czech Republic included a leadership change in one of the world’s leading consumer finance providers and the advancement of Czechs into the management of a top luxury hotel as well as the domestic unit of a global industrial corporation. Among other eye-catching moves were an appointment of a Czech executive at one of the largest paper mills in the region and top management changes at a leading brewer and at banking, IT, and e-commerce companies. At Bubenik Partners, we leveraged our research to compile the list of 10 changes that we consider worth noticing (see the full list below).

The global outbreak of the novel coronavirus confronted newly assigned managers with unexpected and unprecedented decisions and shifted their focus, at least in the short run, from strategy and business development to crisis management and health protection.

The most important management moves in the first quarter of 2020 in the Czech Republic included a leadership change in one of the world’s leading consumer finance providers and the advancement of Czechs into the management of a top luxury hotel as well as the domestic unit of a global industrial corporation. Among other eye-catching moves were an appointment of a Czech executive at one of the largest paper mills in the region and top management changes at a leading brewer and at banking, IT, and e-commerce companies. At Bubenik Partners, we leveraged our research to compile the list of 10 changes that we consider worth noticing (see the full list below).

The global outbreak of the novel coronavirus confronted newly assigned managers with unexpected and unprecedented decisions and shifted their focus, at least in the short run, from strategy and business development to crisis management and health protection.

„Management changes of the past quarter reflect decisions made 3-6 months ago, long before the onset of the pandemic in Europe, when companies were mostly planning further development or expansion in domestic and foreign markets,“ said Jan Bubeník, founder and managing partner of Bubenik Partners.

Many companies in the so-called ‚old economy‘ continued to build up digital skills or to hire managers with the ability and experience to automate manufacturing, warehouse, and other processes,“ said Jan Bubeník.

A big theme has become the quest to find professional management to run family businesses built from the 1990s, whose founders have no heirs apparent to succeed them in their leadership positions.

„Successor positions offer a great opportunity for seasoned managers from global corporations. In originally family businesses, they can get enough space and freedom, be strongly interested in the outcome, and have the prospect of eventually becoming co-owners of managed companies,“ noted Jan Bubeník.

3 Conclusions on the Choice of Internal vs External Candidates

Which way to go when selecting an executive for a critical leadership role: Pick an internal or hire an external candidate? Many clients tend to ask this question, both themselves and ourselves. In this article, Marek Petruš, our Research Director, summarizes three conclusions informed both by established practice and selected research papers.

1. For large corporations with a unique culture and a proven track record in grooming leaders, an internal candidate is often the ideal choice.

Large companies that have mastered developing internal leaders and have a particular culture (such as GE or Apple) find quite often the best candidates inside. Thus, it will be no surprise to see Apple place an internal candidate at the helm of its communications function, although the company has said that it will be considering both internal and external candidates to take over the position.

Preferring an internal hire is a faster, and usually less risky, way of filling an executive position. One avoids the oft-lengthy preparation and subsequent administration of an external executive search process. Furthermore, an internal hire mitigates the risk that the chosen candidate fails to fit the internal environment and adopt a specific corporate culture. Numerous expert studies support the argument in favor of internal mobility. In the one neatly dubbed „Paying More to Get Less: The Effects of External Hiring Versus Internal Mobility“, the author, Matthew Bidwell of Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, concludes that externally selected managers earn more than internally promoted managers — although those internally promoted have shown significantly better performance than those hired externally, and they also less frequently, whether voluntarily or involuntarily, leave their management positions:

„I find that workers promoted to jobs have significantly better performance than workers hired into similar jobs for the first two years, and lower rates of voluntary and involuntary exit. Nonetheless, the external hires are initially paid around 18 percent more than the promoted workers and have higher levels of experience and education.“

 

2. The pursuit of a change agenda, a new business opening or an expansion to new markets speaks powerfully in favor of external candidates even at established corporations

When entering a new business, expanding into new markets or in general pursuing a change agenda, even established corporations are considering, or should consider, primarily external candidates. Internal candidates may be too dependent on the established practices or overly tied by the straitjacket of quite often artificial internal constraints, and thus insufficiently assertive in promoting a change. The right external candidate will approach the role from a new perspective, tapping into his expertise and unique experience, and bring new skills and fresh air into the job.

To give an example from our recent executive search practice: Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company, pursuing its growth vision and expanding across product lines, has selected a high-caliber external candidate, Marek Skysľak, as the new Chief Commercial Officer for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Marek previously served as Managing Director of Procter & Gamble for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The search, considering a vast pool of candidates, was led by our company, Bubenik Partners.

Jan Bubeník is the founder and Managing Partner of Bubenik Partners. He has spent the past 20 years placing expatriates as well as local C-level executives into top positions in companies in the Czech Republic and internationally.

He previously managed Korn Ferry in Prague. Before entering the executive search industry, he worked as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company.

In addition to his executive search business activities, he has participated in management audits and other consulting projects for major regional corporations.

Jan studied Pediatrics at the Charles University Medical School in Prague and Economics at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

During the Czechoslovak Velvet Revolution in November 1989, Jan was one of its principal student leaders. He went on to serve as the youngest member of the first federal parliament. He has also been active with human rights and pro-democracy NGOs helping in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Cuba, where he was arrested and jailed in 2001 for “subversive contact and delivering resources to counter–revolutionary elements”.

Jan was Chairman of the Board of the Corporate Council at Vaclav Havel’s Forum 2000 Foundation and is serving on the Boards of the YPO Gold Czech and Slovak Chapters.

Jan Bubeník is the founder and Managing Partner of Bubenik Partners. He has spent the past 20 years placing expatriates as well as local C-level executives into top positions in companies in the Czech Republic and internationally.

He previously managed Korn Ferry in Prague. Before entering the executive search industry, he worked as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company.

In addition to his executive search business activities, he has participated in management audits and other consulting projects for major regional corporations.

Jan studied Pediatrics at the Charles University Medical School in Prague and Economics at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

During the Czechoslovak Velvet Revolution in November 1989, Jan was one of its principal student leaders. He went on to serve as the youngest member of the first federal parliament. He has also been active with human rights and pro-democracy NGOs helping in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Cuba, where he was arrested and jailed in 2001 for “subversive contact and delivering resources to counter–revolutionary elements”.

Jan was Chairman of the Board of the Corporate Council at Vaclav Havel’s Forum 2000 Foundation and is serving on the Boards of the YPO Gold Czech and Slovak Chapters.

He is married and lives with his wife and 4 kids in Prague.

Kromě přímého vyhledávání manažerů na vrcholové pozice (executive search) nabízíme celou řadu dalších služeb manažerského poradenství včetně outplacementu, koučování, kariérního poradenství, on-boardingu, na míru šitých workshopů a individuálního i týmového posuzování kompetencí manažerů.

Jako poradenská společnost v kontaktu s kandidáty i klienty zpracováváme značné množství osobních údajů. Veškeré tyto údaje spravujeme výhradně v souladu s platnou legislativou.

Jaké osobní údaje shromažďujeme

Zpracováváme základní osobní údaje, jako jsou například akademický titul, jméno, datum narození a další informace, jež jsou běžně součástí životopisu, který s námi jako kandidát sdílíte (jako např. dosažené vzdělání, předchozí zaměstnání, profesní zkušenosti a kariérní aspirace). Shromažďujeme samozřejmě i údaje nezbytně nutné pro navázání a udržení vzájemného kontaktu (telefonní číslo, e-mail atd.).

Kde uchováváme osobní údaje

Osobní údaje shromážděné během komunikace a spolupráce s kandidáty uchováváme v zabezpečené databázi provozované na naší partnerské platformě Not Actively Looking, k níž mají přístup výhradně oprávnění zaměstnanci Bubenik Partners.

Alternativně kandidátům doporučujeme, aby si sami vytvořili vlastní osobní profil na platformě Not Actively Looking, a tímto způsobem s námi sdíleli nejen svůj životopis, ale také se sami rozhodli, jaké osobní údaje nám poskytnou a co nám řeknou o své kariérní historii a profesních aspiracích. Takto vytvořený profil si každý kandidát spravuje a aktualizuje sám.

Jak používáme osobní údaje

Tyto údaje se používají obvyklým způsobem pro naši profesi. Cílem je poskytnout našim klientům požadované služby v manažerském poradenství. Our professional reputation was built by working at the top levels of corporate management, placing senior executives across industries in companies in the Czech Republic and Slovakia as well as globally.

Apart from executive search, we offer a range of management consulting services including outplacement, coaching, career counselling, on-boarding, tailor-made workshops, individual assessments, and management appraisals.

As a consulting company in contact with candidates and clients, we process a significant amount of personal data. All such data is managed solely in accordance with applicable legislation.

The Kind of Information We Collect

We collect basic personal information, such as academic title, name, date of birth, and information that is standardly part of the CV (education, previous job, professional experience, etc.) that you share with us. We also collect your contact information necessary for communication (telephone number, e-mail, etc.).

Where the Personal Data is Held

We keep personal data collected during our communication and cooperation with candidates in a secure database operated on our partner platform Not Actively Looking, which is accessed only by authorized Bubenik Partners employees.

Alternatively, we encourage candidates to create their own personal profile on the Not Actively Looking platform to share not only their CV, but also to what kind of personal information they share and what they tell us about their career history and career aspirations. The profile created in this way is managed and updated by each candidate.

How We Use Personal Data

The data is used in the usual course of our profession. The goal is to provide our clients with the required services, which may include presenting a profile to assess suitability for a particular job opportunity, contacting you for regarding a specific job position, or verifying details from your profile.

How Long We Store Personal Information

We will retain your personal data only for as long as the data is needed in connection with the purposes for which it is being collected and used and/or as long as we have an ongoing relationship with you or our client. After fulfilling all contractual obligations, Bubenik Partners deletes or anonymizes the data.
